From Breakdown to Becoming: My Journey with the Baby Mama Club

Updated: Oct 16, 2025

When I first started the Baby Mama Club, I was looking for friends… mom friends… support… help… resources… and honestly, myself.

I wrote down my plan while working at McClellan VA Outpatient Clinic, literally going through a mental breakdown. Life felt heavy, overwhelming, and uncertain. I stormed out, never went back, and moved home.

That’s when my life truly changed. I found out my son has autism. I left my baby daddy. And I’ve been healing ever since.

Three Years Later

Here we are...in 2025...in my own home. Thriving. Praying. Living for me. Most importantly, I am leading by example for my kids. I am following God’s plan for my life. As He said:

"I know the plans that I have for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV)

I felt it was time to update this blog because I’ve truly grown by sharing my story. I’ve grown closer to God. I am embodying a whole new version of myself, someone God always knew was there, and so did I. I get now that I can do all things through Christ. The Holy Spirit lives within me, guiding me, strengthening me, and showing me my purpose.

The Importance of Community

I believe I have a duty to share this with my community of women. I see now it’s bigger than just community...it’s bigger than us. God has placed me here for a reason, and I am standing in God-given power.

The Baby Mama Club is more than a community; it’s a fellowship. It’s a space for women to grow, heal, and rise above challenges. Being a baby mama doesn’t define your worth; resilience, self-love, and growth do.

Embracing Your Journey

If you’re a mama ready to heal, grow, and thrive, welcome to the Baby Mama Club. This is your space to flourish, rise above, and embrace your purpose. Together, we lead, we rise, and we live fully for ourselves, for our children, and for the purpose God has given us.

Finding Your Strength

In this journey, we often face challenges that test our strength. But remember, every obstacle is an opportunity for growth. Embrace your story. Share it. You never know who might need to hear it.

The Power of Sharing

When we share our experiences, we create connections. We build a network of support. This is what the Baby Mama Club is all about. It’s about lifting each other up. It’s about finding healing in our shared experiences.

Moving Forward Together

As we move forward, let’s remember that we are not alone. We have each other. We have our stories. And we have our faith. Together, we can break generational cycles. Together, we can create a brighter future for our children.

Your Invitation to Join Us

So, if you’re ready to take that step, join us. Let’s walk this path together. Let’s support one another in our journeys. Let’s create a community where every mother feels seen, loved, and respected.
